We guarantee the lowest price in all our establishments if you book directly from our website. Save up to 20% in your stay compared to booking through other platforms or websites.

Arrival, departure and luggage storage



Check-in: 3pm


Check-out: until 11am.


Check-in after 3pm may incur a supplement of €30 (20,000.00 F CFA).


No amounts will be refunded in case of no-show, late chacke-in entry or early departure from the establishment.


Once checked-out, luggage can be stored in our offices starting from €10/day .

Occupation



The number of occupants of the apartment must match the number of occupants indicated at the time of reservation. Once the reservation has been confirmed, the increase in the number of occupants may rise the final price of the stay. In the event that the number of occupants of a confirmed reservation is reduced, the final price of the reservation will not vary.


If it is not expressly stated that the establishment is “pet friendly”, pets are not allowed.

Code of good conduct for our guests



Parties or celebrations that could alter coexistence with neighbors are not allowed. We ask our clients to respect the community and not making noise after 8:00 p.m.


If any client does not respect these rules leading to complaints from the community or even from the police, DAKAR BY DAYS reserves the right to ask the guest to leave the apartment, losing any right to claim any type of financial compensation and losing any payment made to DAKAR BY DAYS.

Changes in the reservation due to force majeure



DAKAR BY DAYS may reassign an apartment with similar characteristics in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances (urgent repairs to the property, unusable rooms, etc.).


We will contact the guest to communicate the circumstances and give the option to keep the reservation in the new assigned apartment or to cancel the reservation. 

In case of cancellation due to force majeure, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded. If the stay has started and the client want to cancel, the amount of the reservation will be refunded deducting overnoight stays and the services consumed. 

Reservation confirmation



After making the reservation, the client should receive an immediate confirmation email with all the details of the reservation. If the confirmation email is not received immediately, the spam folder must be checked.

If your booking has been made through platforms, the booking is confirmed with the conditions of each of them. Direct bookings are confirmed with the payment of 50% for stays of more than 2 days or 100% for certain promotions.

24-48 hours before the arrival date DakarByDays sends a final reminder email with instructions for arrival as well as to reconfirm the booking details.

At any time during the entire process, the client can hire additional services (subject to availability).

Cancellation policy



The cancellation conditions for each booking are those established at the time of booking and are detailed in the confirmation email that the client will receive once the booking has been made.

If the rate is "no cancellation" no refund will be made.

If the rate is different from the previous one, the amount detailed in the conditions of the same will be refunded.
In case of non-payment, the reservation may be cancelled or the rate may be recalculated.

To avoid cancellation problems, we recommend our clients to take out travel insurance in their country of residence (approximate European rates of €1 to €3 per day depending on coverage and insured amounts).

Damage, misuse of items and lost items



The client is responsible for the correct use of the apartment and the accessories. During the stay the client should keep the apartment in a good condition and take responsibility for any damage or loss. In case of damage or loss the client will be asked to pay for the repair or replacement.

Electricity



Our accommodations are delivered with a minimum recharge to be able to access the accommodation and recharges during the stay will be at the customer's expense.

Deposit



The security deposits received will be returned to the guest after the inspection of the accommodation, within a period of 15 days. If any repairs or work need to be carried out on the accommodation at the expense of the deposit, this 15‑day period may be extended until the completion of such repairs and work.
